Local Missions

Backpack Ministry

We provide 50 meals each week to local schools including MLK and Liberty Elementary. We rely on the faithful donations of members of the congregation to provide, pack, and deliver meals each week.

Lexington Rescue Mission

A Ministry that helps to provide food, clothing, affordable housing, employment, and ex-offender care. The Lexington Rescue Mission focuses on spiritual care as transformation through Jesus Christ and helps all those in need know Him more. Eastland Church has supported the ministry of the Lexington Rescue Mission throughout the years by providing financial support as well donating blankets and food. Thank you for gifts and offerings that it make it possible for us to empower the Lexington Rescue Mission to continue their mission to serve those who are need in our community.

Honduras

Haiti

In 2016 a team from Eastland Church visited Honduras to help build and maintain a school building.

In 2023 kids at Vacation Bible school raised over $1500 to support the House of Blessings Orphanage in Haiti as they work to rebuild the walls around their campus.
