Justin Linseisen recently graduated from Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with a Bachelors degree in Bible & Theology with an emphasis in Pastoral Care. It was at Mid-America that he met his wife, Stephanie Linseisen. While in college, Justin had an opportunity to serve as Resident Chaplain for MACU Campus Ministries for two years. He also volunteered with a local Hospice organization and spent time in two major hospitals through a practicum class, learning the ins and outs of visiting and ministering to those who are sick and, in many cases, facing some of the darkest times in their lives.
During his last semester at Mid-America, Justin was given three awards. These included the Matthew 20:28 Servant Leadership Award, the Pastoral Care Award, and the Bible & Theology Ministry Award. Justin’s professional experience includes a summer internship in the Dominican Republic, a youth ministry internship at Highland Park Community Church in Casper, Wyoming, and a youth ministry internship at Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lastly, Justin was certified as a Stephen Minister after being trained and supervised for 50+ hours.
One of Justin’s greatest passions is to proclaim to those in and out of the church scene that they are not forgotten by the Lord, and that He has a never ending love and desire to care for His children! He describes himself as a sincere, kind, “good ole” Texas boy, with a passion for the Lord and for ministry. Justin loves the outdoors and one day wishes to hike the Appalachian Trail. In his spare time, Justin enjoys reading, playing his harmonica, hanging out with his rockstar wife, and spending time with close friends and family.
WE WILL BE MEETING WITH AND THEN VOTING ON JUSTIN AS THE HERITAGE CHURCH PASTOR AT LIBERTY RIDGE DURING THE ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING.
